Οι Φινλανδοί doom metallers SWALLOW THE SUN έχουν σχεδόν έτοιμο τον πέμπτο τους δίσκο, με τίτλο “Emerald forest and the blackbird”, ο οποίος θα κυκλοφορήσει 1 Φεβρουαρίου από την Spinefarm records. O δίσκος ηχογραφήθηκε από τον Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS, CHILDREN OF BODOM), ενώ για την μίξη υπεύθυνος είναι ο Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, APOCALYPTICA, AMORPHIS, MOONSPELL).
Το tracklist του δίσκου είναι το εξής: “Emerald forest and the blackbird”, “This cut is the deepest”, “Hate, lead the way”, “Cathedral walls” (συμμετέχει η Anette Olzon), “Hearts wide shut”, “Silent towers”, “Labyrinth of London (Horror Pt. IV), “Of death and corruption”, “April14th”, “Night will forgive us”.
Εκτός από την Anette σε δύο τραγούδια θα συμμετέχει και ο Aleah Stanbridge (TREES OF ETERNITY).
