Josh Homme: Ο frontman των QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE κλώτσησε φωτογράφο σε φεστιβάλ

Ο frontman των QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, Josh Homme, κλώτσησε στο πρόσωπο τη φωτογράφο Chelsea Lauren. Το περιστατικό που υπάρχει βιντεοσκοπημένο, συνέβη κατά τη διάρκεια της εμφάνισης του συγκροτήματος στο φεστιβάλ KROQ Acoustic Christmas, το Σάββατο.
Η Lauren δήλωσε ότι η κλωτσιά ήταν «προφανώς εκ προθέσεως» ενώ ο Homme απολογήθηκε στην ίδια κάνοντας λόγο για ατύχημα. Όπως φαίνεται στο βίντεο, ο τραγουδιστής προσπερνάει τη φωτογράφο και επιστρέφοντας κλωτσάει την κάμερά της. Η ίδια, επέστρεψε να φωτογραφίσει τους THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS και MUSE που ακολουθούσαν και έπειτα μεταφέρθηκε στο νοσοκομείο. Δήλωσε, επίσης, ότι σκοπεύει να απευθυνθεί στην αστυνομία έπειτα από μηνύματα συμπαράστασης που δέχθηκε.
«Αισθάνομαι ότι αν δεν κάνω τίποτα, θα συνεχίσει να κλωτσάει άτομα στο πρόσωπο και να μην βρίσκεται σε μπελάδες, απλώς επειδή είναι μουσικός», είπε η Lauren.
Μερικά λεπτά αργότερα, ο Homme χρησιμοποίησε –μάλλον- μαχαίρι για να κόψει το μέτωπό του, συνεχίζοντας την εμφάνισή του ματωμένος. Έπειτα προσέβαλλε λεκτικά τόσο το κοινό όσο και τους headliners της βραδιάς, MUSE.
Μην ξεχνάμε ότι δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που ο τραγουδιστής κατηγορείται για επίδειξη βίαιης ή λεκτικά απαράδεκτης συμπεριφοράς. Τον Μάρτιο του 2016, μηνύθηκε επειδή «επίτηδες άρπαξε από τον ώμο» και προσέβαλλε κάποιον που προσπαθούσε να πάρει αυτόγραφο στη συναυλία του με τον Iggy Pop.

Thank you everyone that has reached out with supportive messages. A small update, as I'm being flooded with questions: My neck is a sore, my eyebrow bruised and I'm a bit nauseous. The doctor released me early in the morning. Here are three images. Two of them as Josh looked at me, smiled and then kicked me. The other one is later after he cut his own face with a knife. I was in the pit in tears – and he just stared at me smiling. Assault in any form is not okay, no matter what the reasoning. Alcohol and drugs are no excuse. I was where I was allowed to be, I was not breaking any rules. I was simply trying to do my job. I hold nobody accountable for this but Josh himself. KROQ has nothing to do with this and I will always support them. The irony is someone had thrown an ice cube on to the very slick catwalk before the QOTSA set. I was afraid that one of the band members might slip and hurt themselves so, when the lights went dark, I used my arm to wipe down the runway so nobody would hurt themselves.
